Halushka

Are you looking for a beautifully hand made toy for the special little one in your life??
Browsing on Etsy one day, I came across the most adorable wooden teething necklaces.

Introducing: HALUSHKA

What I loooove about these wooden teething necklaces is that you never have to worry about your babe chewing or sucking on them, that is exactly what they are designed for. They are made of "only hardwoods that are known to be safe, Maple and Cherry," and the designer, "avoids Walnut and other nut trees that could possibly be allergenic".
You never have to worry about BPA, lead paints, or other mysterious liquids.
Any paint used is 100% APA approved and non toxic.
Eyes and other features are burned on.
What you see is what you get.
Just a 100% quality item through and through.

Each piece is skillfully cut out, and sanded smooth by Meghan herself in her very own garage "studio".
Her pieces are works of art, and made to last a few life times, if not longer.
I can totally imagine packing our Pumpkin's birdie necklace up when she is done with it, and putting it away for her own kids one day. The quality is second to none, and I would way rather support and purchase quality items that are built with love by real, live artists. I would trade 50 of my kids' plastic toys for just a few hand made beautifully created wooden toys any day. I love that even the silk that the bird is tied on is soft and expertly chosen.

Meghan's pieces are amazing and so thoughtfully created.
I love them all.

Which is your favorite?

Our birdie necklace is the perfect piece to wear while nursing or even when carrying my baby girl in the carrier or wrap on my front. No more little pinches all over my neck, arms and skin.
Baby can play with the necklace and we can both nurse in peace.
Yessssss, please.
Thank you Halushka for saving my skin ;) haha.
Maybe I should get another for back up just in case.

Please, make sure to check out Halushka on Etsy.
They are closed until Valentine's Day, so you have a few days to check out their past sales and pick out a few of your favorites.

Happy MONDAY.

Love and sunshine,
Mel

P.S. Pumpkin is FOUR months old today... how did THAT happen?!?!
