A couple months ago we added a new addition to our family- A big silly puppy names Lucy! We already love her so much and don't want her to get lost, so I have been searching for dog tag options. I loved our tag from the moment it arrived- it looks so pretty on and it gives me piece of mind knowing that our pup can be returned safely to us if she is ever lost. The quality of the ID tag is also outstanding and they come attached to a sturdy split ring that easily attaches to your dogs collar. I completely recommend this shop to all dog owners - each piece is beautiful and are such a nice departure from boring traditional tags.

At two my daughter is finally getting some hair and I am so excited to be able to put some hair accessories in her locks. I was looking for some home-made options, when I first discovered an amazing Canadian etsy shop; 2cuties Hair clippies. This lovely shop has a huge selection of stylish and fun hair accessories for babies and little girls including; clips, several types of headbands, crocheted hats, and pretty hair clip holders.

I tried an assortment of no slip hair clips from 2cuties Hair clippies on my little ones hair and I love them all. They are all beautifully made and completely unique and sweet. The quality of these clips is so much better than ones you will find at department stores, and the selection is great. My daughter hair is still pretty fine, so I also love that these well designed clips didn't slip off her little tresses.

I also had the chance to try out a couple of 2cuties toggled headbands, and they are wonderful. These hip little headbands are made from a variety of patterned  ribbon and feature non-slip backing. I was honestly amazed at how well they stay put- ours stay on all day! I love the toggle design too - its wonderful for adjusting to your little ones growing head and really allows you to get creative with different wearing options. These headbands are made without elastic- making them very comfortable too. Love them!

2cuties Hair clippies is owned and operated by a super cool and creative Canadian mom with three little cuties of her own. I love supporting Canadian  mompreneur and the mom behind 2cuties Hair clippies is wonderful to work with. Everything in her shop is home-made with love, and she is always adding new items. 2cuties Hair clippies also has an active and fun facebook page where daily deals are offered for facebook fans - yay!

To use you simple tip the timer and challenge your kids to brush until the timer runs out; approx 3 minutes. Sometimes it can be a battle to get my girls to brush their teeth long enough, and this fun timer is wonderful for building good brushing habits. We reviewed the cute mouse timer, but Sevi makes a timer to suit every child including a frog, a princess ,and a clown; just to name a few.

We also had the chance to try Sevi's Bastoncini (sticks) game, a fun twist on pick-up sticks that has become an instant family favorite. To play you set up the sticks in the ring and take turns removing a specifically colored stick until the stick tower tumbles down. Bastoncini reminds me of a blend between Jenga and pick-up sticks and it a total blast for young and old. Its great at encouraging hand-eye coordination, patience, color recognition, and it teaches little ones how to take turns. Although it is recommended for kids 3 and over, my toddler plays easily with a little direction. Sevi's Bastonicini is a wonderful toy for rainy days and its small size also makes it perfect to take traveling.

Barley and Birch T-shirt Review

The main reason I strive to be environmentally responsible is because I want to leave my kids a clean and healthy planet. I know that small decisions such as buying organic and recycling really do make a difference for our earth, so I love when I am able to find businesses that share my goal. I've found the most beautiful Teepees

I've recently blogged about my love for Tipis (or Teepees) for kids play. They are loved by everyone young and old, are perfect for in the house, garden, or yard, and just seem to magically encourage all sorts of imaginative play. They are also so much fun to take camping, to the beach, and make a wonderful addition to childcare centres. So when I saw the gorgeous Tipis that were being made by Lara from Three Owls Studio I had to share them with you.

If you love Tipis like me, the ones from Three Owls Studio really are the creme de la creme of Tipis. The colors are beautiful and they are all hand sewn with bound edges and laces or button holes. They are made with high quality 5oz Cotton Canvas and are hand dyed with fiber reactive dyes (which wont wash out or fade). Three Owls Studio Tipis also come with the sweetest extras like glow in the dark stars stamped on the inside and great circle doors. They are a truly wonderful play space for kids and would also make a peaceful spot for adults.

Three Owls Tipis are super durable and will last for years and years. The Tipis are also so easy to set up and come with complete instructions. I also love that they are machine washable and are not treated with nasty chemicals (like the majority of tipis on the market).

I teamed up with Lara, the amazingly talented artisan behind Three Owls Toy Studio, a couple months ago for a review/giveaway and have been a huge fan of hers since. She makes the sweetest hand-made toys, and now has began making these lovely Tipis. I'm always on the look out for natural skin care products- especially new and innovative products that can help keep my skin looking, young,  fresh, and healthy. I have been using it daily for sometime now and it works beautifully. I love that it is so gentle, yet keeps my ultra dry skin very well moisturized. It also absorbs very quickly, leaving my skin very soft and healthy looking.

Sea Buckthorn Cleanse and Detox Facial Soap: This natural and pure facial bar soap works beautifully to clean and moisturize the skin and also acts as a natural astringent. This is actually my favorite Sibu Beauty product! It lathers up so nicely, and cleans my skin beautifully without drying. I have been using it religiously and especially love how easy it is to use and how great it makes my skin feel - completely clean yet moisturized.

Sea Buckthorn Age-Defying Eye Cream: This ultra gentle eye cream is perfect for women with sensitive skin. I often get irritations from eye cream- but this all natural formulation left my eye area looking smooth and fresh without any irritation. It soothes fine lines, reduces dark circles and puffiness, and firms up the eye area. It is also extremely hydrating and is is rich in antioxidants.

Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil: This therapeutic grade, organic, 100% pure Buckthorn seed oil is a must have for your skin care regime. It has been traditionally used in Asia for centuries to promote healthy skin and relieve a wide variety of skin conditions (such as eczema, acne, rosacea, burns, and wounds). I have been using it as an acne spot treatment and on wrinkles and it works wonderfully. It is also very gentle and fast absorbing.
