Eleven Collection Shoes - Review and Giveaway - closed

I'm so happy to be able to find similar styles and quality that I trust, but in larger sizes.

I was sent the most adorable summer sandals for my little toddler from Eleven Collection's new summer/spring collection - the Sabrina in Plum. The lovely plum color and scalloped straps are so pretty and the design makes them perfect for summer. They are completely breathable, feature a cushioned insole for comfort, and they have sturdy non-slip soles to keep my little one on her feet. I am also really impressed by how well made these shoes are. My kids can be really rough on their shoes (especially in the summer months when we spend so much time outdoors), and although these sandals look girly they are built tough.

Eleven Collection Shoes are not only kid friendly, but they are also very parent friendly. I love that they have an adjustable velcro closure for a perfect fit and easy on/off. They are very easy to care for and keep clean. I just use a damp cloth to wipe them down and they look as good as new. Our little strappy Sabrina sandals are also really versatile; my little one can wear them for family hikes and to friend's weddings. Like almost every other women I know - I really love shoes. I get giddy at the sight of a cute wedge or strappy sandals, and don't even get me started on boots-gush. Well warm weather always gets me ready for shoe shopping and I have found a wonderful new online shop with hundreds of crush worthy shoes- Habitat Shoes. I was sent the most beautiful pair of sandals from Habitat Shoes- the new Cocobelle Victoria. These shoes are so lovely with detailed turquoise bead work down the front. The style is also stunning; they have a Grecian goddess look that is both worldly and hip. These shoes are not only so pretty, but they are also very comfortable. The soft leather straps keep the shoes in place and the leather sole and foot-bed make the shoe breathable and flexible. I have been wearing mine a ton and they feel great and I get so many compliments on them. I completely recommend the Cocobelle Victoria Sandals and Habitat Shoes.

Essential Swimwear Review and Giveaway - CLOSED

Its bathing suit shopping time again- ahhh. For me this means wrangling a toddler into a tiny stall and trying on suits as quickly as possible. I inevitable have to try on about 50, and still rarely find one that fits my shape.When I do managed to find flattering suits, I am often bowled over by the $100 plus price tag- yikes. I usually leave the store defeated and exhausted. Well my dread is a thing of the past now that I have discovered Essential Swimwear. Soon everyone she knew wanted a handmade swimsuit and her business blossomed. She spent 2 years designing suits and fitting hundreds of women. My experience with Essential Swimwear has been a great one. I have never ordered a swimsuit online before, but their simple size chart and the fact that I was able to order my tops and bottoms separately made it completely painless. Mon Petit Shoo ~ Review with a Discount and Giveaway - CLOSED

I love to wear hats and dress my daughters in hats, so I was thrilled to recently discover Mon Petit Shoo. This Canadian mom owned business features gorgeous, stylish, and unique handmade hats and accessories for young and old. She creates lovely items by crocheting with a wide variety of wools including many eco-friendly varieties like bamboo wool, corn wool, and soy wool. Mon Petit Shoo specializes in custom orders - and sells hats and accessories in their Etsy shop and through their fun facebook page.

Mon Petit Shoo was born out of one moms desire to help others in need - what a beautiful way to start a business. When Amanda Wray saw the devastation and suffering in the aftermath of the Haiti Earthquake she knew she had to do something to help; so she launched Hats4Haiti. This "crocheting for a cause" business had a beautifully simple plan- sell homemade hats for $10 and give half to charity. Although she was new to crocheting Amanada quickly honed her skills and was able to raise over 500$ to benefit the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund- amazing! She continues to make Hats4Haiti, but is now focusing her creative energy on her new business Mon Petit Shoo.

I tried two amazingly cute and stylish brimmed hats with flowers from Mon Petit Shoo - a beautiful matching mother daughter set. I love how Amanda creatively made our hats match- without making them exactly the same. My daughter, who usually wont wear hats, loves her flower hat and actually asks to wear it. She also lights up when we wear them together, like most little girls she is thrilled to be able to match her mom. Mon Petit Shoo is actually currently taking orders for father/son hats and father/daughter hats that would be just perfect for fathers day.

Mon Petit Shoo's Brimmed Flower hats are so sweet and have a way of being classically romantic and Indie-unique at the same time. These hats definitely fit my personal style and I adore their page-boy meets flapper girl design. They are a blast to wear, are very well made, and they photograph beautifully. I find our brimmed hats are incredibly versatile too- cute with jeans or dresses and light-weight enough to wear all year round. My hat is also a complete must have for bad hair days.

Amanda Wray is the incredibly talented,  and awesome women behind Mom petit Shoo. This mom of three makes her lovely home-made hats in Vancouver, BC. Amanda is super creative and is always designing cool new items to add to her shop and to her facebook page. She began making only hats, but she has now branched out and is making beautiful scarves, wrist-warmers, leg warmers, and more. Amanda is a complete doll to work and  and she has a huge heart. I feel great supporting her business and completely recommend her hats to everyone I meet.

Shop: There are two ways to buy your own beautiful hand-made items from Mon Petit Shoo. You can either shop for pre-made items at her Etsy shop or order custom items. Custom orders are a great way to get a unique hat that really suites your own personal style. Mon Petit Shoo has a great explanation of custom orders as well as her price list here (her prices are very reasonable). If you follow Mon Petit Shoo on facebook she often posts photos of new styles and you can just send her a quick message telling her your size and color preferences and she will make a custom made hat just for you. Mon Petit Shoo makes cute and girly hats like the ones reviewed above, but she also makes a ton of other styles including  fun hats for little boys.
