Oh Bamboosa, how I love you so.
Bamboosa makes lovely clothing and baby items from the highest quality certified organic bamboo. Everything from Bamboosa is ultra soft, protective, and oh so natural. All of their items are made in the US and they are completely sweatshop free. Bamboosa is also super green- using renewable bamboo, eco-friendly dyes, and only recycled packaging. Read on to learn more about this great company and to find out how you can win an awesome pair of
Sukara Long Pants.

I had a chance to try the
Sukara Long Pant from Bamboosa, and I have been living in them ever since. These super soft and comfortable yoga style pants are made from a blend of organic bamboo, organic cotton, and Lycra. The Sukara Long Pants are great for yoga, lounging, walking/jogging, running around after a busy toddler, and as super comfy Pajamas. The Sukara Long Pants are so warm, yet really seem to breath. Another great thing about the
Sukara Long Pants is that they don't stretch out or sag, making them form fitting and very flattering. I think they would also be amazing maternity wear, since they are so comfy and the waste rolls down.

Why bamboo? Well I love how soft and comfortable bamboo is. I have also found it to be super durable, easily washable, and great at keeping me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Bamboo grows prolifically without pesticides or chemicals fertilizers- making it super eco-friendly too. I also just read on the Bamboosa site that bamboo offers excellent UV protection, so cool.

We also have a
Bamboosa Lovee Covee blanket, that is well loved. I bought it when my baby was first born, and it is still used daily. She calls it her "softy", and she loves to snuggle up with it. The Lovee Covee blanket is generously sized, luxuriously soft, made from a blend of bamboo and organic cotton velour. It also is very durable. Ours goes everywhere with us, and is still as soft and lovely as the day it arrived. My favorite thing about this blanket though, is that its free of chlorine and formaldehyde so you know its safe.
Bamboosa not only shows love for mother nature by being so green, Bamboosa gives back in other ways too. They have a great
Socks to Soldiers program where they donate a pair of Bamboo Crew Socks to a US soldier for every 25$ you spend. So if you spend 100, they will send 4 pairs of socks to soldiers in Afghanistan. So sweet, and such a great idea. Customers can also round up all purchases at Bamboosa, with their change going to non-profit organizations such as Oceana and Healthy Child Healthy World. As I've mentioned on this blog a lot, I love to support companies like Bamboosa who give back.
Buy: The Sukara Long Pants, Lovee Covee, and other Bamboosa products can be bought
online, or at
these retailers across the US and Canada. I have noticed that Bamboosa sizing is generous (similar to the GAP) so take that into consideration when ordering clothing.
