Rocky Mountain Kid is a great online shop that specializes in gear for active babies and kids. Our family likes to get out in nature and hike, camp, canoe, kayak, and just explore. If I have learned one thing from our many adventures, its that having fun outdoors with little kids really depends on having the right gear. Rocky Mountain Kid is a great place to buy this gear, and they have offered two of my readers the chance to win an organic Patagonia T-shirt.Rocky Mountain kid was started by a couple who love the outdoors and wanted to be able to take their daughter on their many adventures. To do this they needed quality outdoor baby and kids gear, and wanted a convenient place to buy it: so Rocky Mountain Kid was born. This retailer of high quality outdoor gear is based out of Alberta's Rocky Mountains (go Canada). All of the products that they sell are tested in the great Canadian wilderness by their staff. This dedication to selling only high quality, well tested products really shows in the clothing and accessories that they carry.

I was sent the Hooded Down Jacket from Molehill Mountain to test out, and with fall well on its way we have been using this jacket a lot. My youngest daughter (who has protested many a jacket in the past) loves this jacket. It is very warm, yet light weight and easy to wear. Its not stiff like many winter jackets, but comfortable and easy to run and play in. It also has a toasty hood, that fastens around her chin and keeps her safe from the elements. It has made our recent outdoor adventures fun and warm, even though the weather has turned very cold here.
The quality of this jacket is amazing, in fact like all Molehill Products it comes with a lifetime warranty! The jacket is filled with warm down feathers and the outer fabric is a down-proof nylon, that is also rip proof and water resistant. The Molehill Mountain Hooded Jacket has great details that I rarely see on jackets for little children, such as an interior zippered pocket and elastic around the bottom hem to keep out drafts. My daughter loves this jacket, and I completely recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality warm jacket for their kids.
As mentioned Rocky Mountain Kid has a great selection of outdoor clothing and accessories for your little ones. They not only sell toasty jackets and snow suits, they also have a great selection of warm weather outdoor gear. They sell adorable swim suits, lovely organic t-shirts, pretty sun dresses, sunglasses, shoes, and much more. Rocky Mountain Kid carries only the highest quality brands such as : Patagonia, Hatley, Milkshaxs, Molehill Mountain, Merrell and many more.
Shop: Rocky Mountain kid is a great place to buy outdoor clothing and accessories for your kids (including the wonderful jacket mentioned above). They also carry many great gift ideas for any active families or kids on your Christmas list this year. The Giveaway: Rocky Mountain Kid has generously offered TWO baby or children's Patagonia organic cotton t-shirts to giveaway to my readers (so i will be choosing two winners). These T-shirts are adorable, and you will get to choose the size, color, and graphic that you want.

The opinions expressed in the above review are my honest experiences and thoughts. I did not receive any money for writing this review. Rocky Mountain Kid provided me with a jacket to try out and I provided this review.

A special thanks to

Besides the great attributes mentioned above, My Sweet Punkin Patch Diapers are the cutest diapers around. There are so many great colors and prints available. I tried out the Blaze Orange diaper with the monkey flannel on the inside, and its so fun and bright. My little one liked the pattern right away. I also love the sweet detail of the applique label on the front.
I love home-made and everything at
This shop is a great place for all your cloth diapering needs.
Thanks so much to
Listening to A Family Christmas is sure to bring back a flood of great childhood memories. As a child I loved Christmas more than any other time of the year and this album brings all of those great memories back. As I listen, I cannot help but feel nostalgic about stringing popcorn, opening stockings, decorating our tree, and caroling with my family. I'm now building memories with my girls around these classic songs, that will evoke fond memories throughout their lives as well.

I have just discovered a wonderful eco-conscious online shop~ and just in time for all of my holiday shopping!

As mentioned Every Little Bit has a great selection of fun and unique toys. I had the opportunity to try out the most adorable
I have made a pledge this year to not buy any Christmas gifts that are made in China (for ethical as well as safety reasons). I was thrilled when I learned that RedSpottedPurple guarantees that all of their dolls are made ethically. The doll i received was hand knit in Turkey, by a Turkish crafts-person. These dolls are made in homes and small studios and are bought for fair prices. This company is committed to a philosophy of ethical business and social responsibility. In a season sometimes overrun by consumerism and greed, this is a gift you can feel good about buying.
RedSpottedPurple makes toys that are healthy both for your children and the environment. Their dolls are made with 100% Organic Turkish Cotton. All of the cotton is dyed with eco-friendly and safe dyes~ without the use of heavy metals or AZO. RedSpottedPurple is a Dutch company, so all of their toys also meet strict European guidelines for safety.

Rockin Green Cloth Diaper Detergent works amazingly well. It left all my cloth diapers clean, stain free, and fresh smelling. It is specially formulated for cloth diapers so it rinses free without any nasty buildup. I also tried it out on my families regular laundry and everything came out super clean. Rockin Green Soap also has a "soft rock" version especially formulated for those with sensitive skin.
Thanks so much to

As you can see from her picture, my girl LOVES her
As a parent with real concerns about all the chemicals that my girls are exposed to- my favorite thing about Hatley pajamas is that they are not treated with flame retardant. My family has stopped using any products treated with these awful chemicals, so I was so happy to learn about Hatley's adorable and safe pajamas. Flame Retardants are made out of toxic brominated chemicals that have been linked to nervous system damage, impaired thyroid function, and liver damage. These chemicals do not wash out of clothing or bedding, so it is important to avoid them as much as possible. So how can you tell is your child's PJ's are treated with toxic chemicals?? I assume that all pajamas are treated with fire retardant unless they say "must be snug fitting” or "not flame resistant" on the label.
Thank you so very much to
The dress my daughter tried out is the

When I first approached Nicole to design my blog, I really only had a vague idea of the what I wanted the blog to look like. I sent her a couple ideas to give her a sense of my taste, and she created a beautiful and unique blog. I was totally blown away by her design work. If you are thinking about starting your own blog or making some changes to your existing blog- I completely recommend
You may have noticed some changes to my blog this month. I was so happy with the work that Nicole from The Pixel Boutique did designing my blog that I approached her again recently when I wanted to make some changes to my blog. She added a 3rd column, numbered my comments, and made me a pretty blog button (which you can see on the right). It was great to work with Nicole again, and I am so pleased with the new look of my blog.
