SISU Kids Vitamin D Review

Do you use Vitamin D supplements?

It is widely recommended to supplement breastfed babies with vitamin D. It is especially important in Canada where our long winters leave our bodies lacking this essential nutrient. Even though i know how important this vitamin is, I honestly haven't been very good about supplementing my baby girl.

It all started when she was born and i went out and bought some vitamin D drops at the local pharmacy. When i got home and read the ingredients on the box however, i was horrified. It was full of chemicals, dyes, and it contained artificial sweeteners (yikes!! If my Dr recommended staying away from artificial sweeteners when i was pregnant- why would i give them to my newborn baby). Anyway i threw out the box, and didnt give her any vitamin D for several months.

Then when i was shopping at our local health food store i discovered SISU Quick dissolve Vitamin D Tablets. I'm usually not a big vitamin person, but i LOVE this product. It doesn't contain any artificial ingredients and is healthy and safe for babies and kids.

SISU Vitamin D tabs are so easy to give to baby. They are tiny pills that dissolve instantly. I just put them under my daughters tongue and they are gone in seconds. I find them much easier to administer than liquid drops. They can also be dropped in babies bottles or sippy cups where they quickly dissolve.

-They are less expensive than commercial vit D drops- I paid less than 5$ for a large bottle

Wall Talk Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

Live out loud with wall talk

I recently had the opportunity to try out a Wall Talk decorative quote and I think it looks amazing! I decorated my daughters nursery with the quote "you are my sunshine my only sunshine". This quote has personal meaning to me and I think it really adds a personal touch to the room. It feels intimate to have a quote that i sing to her all the time and it gives me the warm fuzzies wherever i see it.

Bravado Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra- Review and Giveaway- CLOSED

Thanks to PTPA I had the chance to try out the amazing Body Silk Seamless Nursing Bra recently and I loved it. It has honestly put all my other nursing bras to shame. Its just amazing in so many ways. First and foremost it is so comfortable. The cups are soft and pliable, and made with the softest butteriest material I've ever felt. The straps also feel great and don't dig into my shoulders at all.

This bra has a lot of support. I have a large chest, so i am usually unable to wear bras that are not under-wire without feeling like a saggy-sue. This bra gives me the lift and support i need without any stiff uncomfortable wire. Its wonderful!

Totally seamless and invisible under clothes. This bra is great under a tee!

As mentioned the Body Silk Seamless Bra has no under-wire, so it is especially great for those first few months of breastfeeding when most lactation consultants recommend forgoing under-wire.

The price is also impressive at only 50$ Canadian. I noticed once my chest size reached a certain point, nursing bras became very expensive. Bravado designs has managed to keep prices reasonable while still delivering a great product.

The Bravado Web page is also really great. It has a what should i buy section, that can help even the most unsure shopper. They also have sizing help section, with pictures and a 1-800 number you can call to talk with a sizing expert if you are still unsure.
